Best pizza you have ever eaten
Today, I found myself enjoying the best pizza I have ever had. It was served at a greek joint called the copper kettle around here, and it was just terrific. It is called "Fred Special" and consist of a diabolical combination of ingredients that are designed to taste terrific and make you smell like the rectum. It has feta, spinach, black olives, onions, garlic, italian sausage, the best, crispiest crust of all time, this sauce that makes you want to break down and cry, and possibly the most incoherent man handing it to you. Oh doctor, I just couldn't get enough of it.
Chime in with your pizza thoughts.

Every local has their pizzaria of choice. As a San Dag, my favorite is from a restaurant called "Filippi's". They have the cheese that is really stretchy and use Italian wine in their tomato sauce recipe. I only buy from them on special occasions though, or when my brother pays for it.

Couldn't tell you the name of the place ... or if it even still exists ... but it was an average resteraunt in downtown Montreal ... and they made me a deep dish pie like you would not believe ... it was simple on the toppings ... Pepperoni, Mushroom and Bacon ... but my god ... it was the crust ...
that crust was awesome ...
I used to flip pizzas for a living, so I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur ... one of my most favourite sayings is ...
'Pizza is like sex ... when it's good, it's pretty damned good ... and when it's bad ... it's still pretty damned good'

Pappa and Ciccias in fulham, London. Proper Italian pizza, none of this thick base crap you get everywhere else with so many toppings you cant taste any individual ingredients. With any Italian cooking, simple is better.

LoL, I don't eat a ton of pizza, but I've got to say, Pizza Pizza is really really good if you get a fresh one from them and have it cooked long enough to have the crust nice and hard. MMm... I love crunchie crust.
Pizza Hut I tried their thin crust pizza, I was full but ended up eating the crush instead of the rest of the pizza I had. It was so good.

When I lived in Italy I had quite of a variety of pizza, as you can imagine. I had one that had horse meat on it..not my favorite.
I did have 2 favorites at this one place. It had prosciutto and mushrooms on a smoky style cheese called caciotta (I cant find it in the States) and my other favorite was a pizza wit hall this crap on it like asparagus and artichokes, ham...so on.
Every month or so..my buddies would go to this place that was more American style pizza that you actually had to tilt the box 45 degrees to get it through the friggin door! With that and a case of beer or 3, we were set for a long nite of videos, Madden, or whatever.

Alfredo sauce and cheese are blanketed with a layer of oven-roasted red potato seasoned with fresh garlic and dill. Topped off with bacon, cheddar, and creamy gorgonzola cheese.
